WalzCraft is proud to offer Architectural Grade / Reconstituted Veneers on slab style doors and drawer fronts. This door style is available ¾” thick and sizes up to 48” in width and 96” in height, with continuous grain patterns available up to 120”. Wood veneer edgebanding and multiple sheet stock sizes can also be purchased to complete your project.

Architectural Grade / Reconstituted Veneers are a new environmentally friendly man-made alternative to other rare and exotic wood species veneers. A major benefit is its very consistent and nearly defect free grain, which makes this type of veneer a great choice for any project requiring consistency of grain and color throughout.

Glaze Method: Dry Wiped Glaze (DW)
Glaze Intensity: Light (LG)

Dry Wiped Glaze

Our “Dry Wiped” glazing method utilizes either a brush, rag or spray gun to apply glaze to the entire face and profiled areas of the product. The glaze is then wiped away with a dry cotton cloth, leaving the glaze build up at the desired level of intensity. This method will alter the appearance of the original color and wood specie combination causes the color to vary between the front and back side of the product. Due to the glazing effect, it also becomes necessary to apply glaze to all sheet stock, moldings and accent components.

*You must select either “Light” or “Heavy” intensity. The difference is the amount of glaze build-up left in the corners on the center panel.

SolidTone® Color

SolidTone® finishes are composed of solid color pigments mixed with topcoat. A coat of primer is applied first. After drying, the product is scuff sanded and receives a coat of solid color.

Common Wood Species and Grade combinations when using this SolidTone® color:

Birch – Paint (Birch or Solid MDF Center Panel)

Maple – Paint (Maple or Solid MDF Center Panel)

Poplar – Paint (Poplar or Solid MDF Center Panel)

Solid MDF (1 or 5-Piece)

Special Note

For best results we recommend ordering SolidTone® prefinished product in Maple or MDF due to the natural characteristics of these materials, where grain is less likely to show through after painting. When a Rub Through Option is used, Alder and Cherry may also be a consideration.

Attention

Actual product color and detail may vary due to individual computer preferences and monitor settings. We highly recommend ordering an actual product sample of the species and stain color to eliminate any confusion. Please contact our Customer Support Team

Color: Linen SolidTone
Wood: Maple – Hard/Soft Mixed (Paint)
Glaze Color: Coffee
